3 Days Later, I'm 20 years Older

Some people use fake ID's to instantly become older, some do their hair differently, and some even grow a mustache. But I? I worked three days in a cubicle, became part of the Anheuser system, got a bunch of log on passwords (which I created--and by the way the passwords I created are so ridiculously funny I wish I could tell some of you. I know JT would appreciate them), attended meetings, and wait for it.......got a company Blackberry complete with Blackberry holster, in case I get in a cell phone duel with someone apparently.

Oh ya, and I booked a hotel in the heart of Manhattan for a MONTH! That's right, I'll be in the Big Apple for work the next month from August 7th until the Friday of Labor Day.

"But Ryan, how are you going to pay for your life in NYC & NJ for the next month?"

Well, I asked that too and received the answer "Bro, don't worry. Chill, it's all expenses paid!" Okay...A-B is not that frat, but I DID see an employee walk around today in their Pike's Polo, I swear to God. But yes, it's all expenses paid! The bad news? I'll be working 6 days a week while in NY, and get this.....they're making me hang with distributors and use our product. Ha ha in case you didn't catch on, that means sample the New York bar scene and drink A-B with them!! How awesome is that, right? No, it's not Animal House, but yes it's definitely a good position to be in. Little does A-B know that I've practiced so hard for this exact occasion all four years of college, especially on Saturday nights ha ha (Just kidding Mom & Dad!........but seriously).

Anyways, I'll be staying on 5th Avenue and 37th. They also said I'm going to be going to Giants games, Jet games, Yankee games, and Mets games. It's tough, but someone has to do it and I'm honored that it's me. But all joking aside, I do take this seriously and can't wait to build an extensive network and prove my abilities to A-B. The chance of a lifetime.

I previously named a few cities I heard I might be placed in for the next month, but I came to find out the other SMTs will also be sprinkled throughout the states in places such as LA, San Francisco, Denver, and Boston (pronounced "Bah-ston"). I'll be in NYC & NJ with my fellow SMTs Alex & Allison. What a great time we're going to have.

Shoutout to House, Jay, Casey, and Janet. See you in NY soon enough!

More on this later. As for now, I gotta grab the chicken from the oven. And oh yeah, tomorrow's pay day!!
